Prepare Your Home For Real Estate Photos

General Tips

Clear excess clutter
Clean whole house(floors, windows)
Open all curtains and blind to let in natural light
Turn on all lights and lamps
Turn off TVs, monitors and all fans
Remove any personal photos from view or replace them with general photos
Place all shoes/garments in closets

Kitchen

Remove magnets and artwork from fridge
Remove dishes from the sink
No baking supplies, mail, etc., on the countertop
Leave out max one nice appliances on the counter
Hide garbage cans

Bedrooms

Make beds and press your bed covers
Remove any personal items of nightstands
Clean under bed and remove items that may show in the photos
Remove all personal items as well as clutter
Trash cans, laundry, photos and power brick should also be out of sight

Bathrooms

Remove everything except for towels and anything decorative
Make sure toilet seats is down and shower curtains is clean and straight
Sparkling clean shower, mirrors and sinks
Leave out only a new toilet roll and fresh towels

Exterior

Remove cars from driveway and front of home
Move the trash cans out of sight and clean away garden equipments, hoses, toys, etc.
Clean up landscape
Close garage doors
Clean porch, tidy up outdoor furniture
